WHAT: POWER CAMP is a faith-based week long day camp hosted by Mount Bethel Church. It is designed to use sports, games, and creativity to present the gospel to children.
WHERE: Tuscarora Inn and Conference Center (3300 River Road, Mount Bethel)
WHO: Completed 1st – Completed 6th grades
WHEN: Monday, June 2nd – Thursday, June 5th
Standard Day: 9am-3pm
- Registration will be open early on Monday morning starting at 8:30.
- Drop-Off will be 9am Tuesday - Thursday
Extended Day option (Swimming or Indoor Movie, if raining) is available from 3-5pm for an additional cost - $25
Each day consists of open recreation, large group sessions and games, sports clinics or arts and drama electives, lunch, small-group Bible study, team competitions, guest speakers and swimming for those in the Extended Day program.
* POWER CAMP runs Monday-THURSDAY. Thursday evening, we invite all campers and their families back to Mount Bethel Church for a special dinner and program. Details will be provided.
REGISTRATION COSTS:
First Child - $150*
Additional Children - $100/each
Lunch is provided each day by Tuscarora - a menu will be sent in the confirmation email
Extended Day Pool Option - $25 per child (flat fee/week)
**FCS Students or CCA Students who will be participating half-day (starting with lunch at 12:00pm) will be given $25 discount/child. Please choose "Pay by Cash/Check -- $0" option below and pay at check-in on Monday, June 2.
WHAT TO PACK:
· Refillable water bottle
· Sunblock
· Appropriate attire (including footwear)
· Bathing suit and towel (if choosing extended day option)
Soccer Clinic: requires shin guards; cleats optional.
Tennis Clinic: requires tennis racket. (please let us know if you need to borrow a racket)
Basketball Clinic: bring a basketball (not required)
Please be sure to label all articles with camper name.
POWER CAMP is a fundraiser for the Youth Group of Mount Bethel Church with the added bonus of supporting Tuscarora as a local ministry partner.
As a non-profit, we will be looking for team leaders, coaches, snack donations, check-in/check-out administrators, and nurses.
