2025 POWER CAMP Registration

WHAT: POWER CAMP is a faith-based week long day camp hosted by Mount Bethel Church. It is designed to use sports, games, and creativity to present the gospel to children.

WHERE: Tuscarora Inn and Conference Center (3300 River Road, Mount Bethel)

WHO: Completed 1st – Completed 6th grades

WHEN: Monday, June 2nd – Thursday, June 5th
Standard Day: 9am-3pm
- Registration will be open early on Monday morning starting at 8:30.
- Drop-Off will be 9am Tuesday - Thursday
Extended Day option (Swimming or Indoor Movie, if raining) is available from 3-5pm for an additional cost - $25

Each day consists of open recreation, large group sessions and games, sports clinics or arts and drama electives, lunch, small-group Bible study, team competitions, guest speakers and swimming for those in the Extended Day program.

* POWER CAMP runs Monday-THURSDAY. Thursday evening, we invite all campers and their families back to Mount Bethel Church for a special dinner and program. Details will be provided.

REGISTRATION COSTS:

First Child - $150*
Additional Children - $100/each
Lunch is provided each day by Tuscarora - a menu will be sent in the confirmation email

Extended Day Pool Option - $25 per child (flat fee/week)

**FCS Students or CCA Students who will be participating half-day (starting with lunch at 12:00pm) will be given $25 discount/child. Please choose "Pay by Cash/Check -- $0" option below and pay at check-in on Monday, June 2.

WHAT TO PACK:
·         Refillable water bottle
·         Sunblock
·         Appropriate attire (including footwear)
·         Bathing suit and towel (if choosing extended day option)

Soccer Clinic: requires shin guards; cleats optional.
Tennis Clinic: requires tennis racket. (please let us know if you need to borrow a racket)
Basketball Clinic: bring a basketball (not required)

Please be sure to label all articles with camper name.

POWER CAMP is a fundraiser for the Youth Group of Mount Bethel Church with the added bonus of supporting Tuscarora as a local ministry partner.

As a non-profit, we will be looking for team leaders, coaches, snack donations, check-in/check-out administrators, and nurses.

Liability Waiver

My son/daughter is a voluntary participant in POWER CAMP 2025 and is in good health. I recognize the possibility of a physical injury associated with a sports camp and, in consideration for Mount Bethel Church allowing my son/daughter to participate in this camp, I release and hold harmless Mount Bethel Church, including affiliated individuals and organizations, Tuscarora Inn and Conference Center, POWER CAMP organizers, sponsors, and all camp volunteers and staff from any and all claims that may arise from participation in this event including all personal injuries. Additionally, I grant POWER CAMP volunteers to act as my surrogate for my child in the area of obtaining medical treatment by a medical doctor, dentist, nurse, or athletic trainer. I also assume full financial responsibility for any medical or dental treatment for my child. I understand that I and my emergency contacts will be contacted immediately by the POWER CAMP staff through the telephone numbers that I have provided in case of any medical or dental problems with my child and assure that I will be available immediately to make medical decisions for my child. Additionally, I grant permission for photographs of my child to be taken during this camp and used only without his/her name in POWER CAMP and Tuscarora publications.

POWER CAMP is run by Mount Bethel Church and is operated by a volunteer staff. Please help us by encouraging others to serve as Team Leaders and staff. Please feel free to share this material with any who might be interested. We need volunteers to serve as team leaders, nurses, snack coordinators, administrators, or to help with registration/drop-off/pick-up.
