Thank you for your interest in serving at Illumination Station Vacation Bible School!
Youth who have completed 6th - 12th grade are invited to volunteer at one or both VBS programs. Your involvement in our program makes it a rich, engaging experience for the children and we appreciate your sacrifice of time.
Preschool/Kindergarten VBS will be held July 28, 29, 30 from 9:00-11:30 a.m.
Children entering 1st-6th grade will have VBS the week of August 3-August 7 from 9-12 p.m.
Please complete the form below to be contacted as a helper for VBS. Youth volunteers should plan on attending youth volunteer meeting, date and time to be announced.
Please review the areas where volunteers can serve and indicate ALL of the options that interest you. We will do our best to place you in one of your interest areas, but we cannot guarantee placement.
Background Clearances [Volunteers 18+ years old]
We take the safety and security of our children very seriously and request that all adult volunteers in the VBS program obtain a background clearance within the past 4 years through the MBC security portal.
Even if you have a clearance, due to your work in a school or other secure location, we need to have your clearances completed through our online portal. There will be no cost to you, as it is covered under our finances.
This on-line application is handled through Protect My Ministry, Inc., an organization committed to protecting both children’s safety and your personal information. While social security numbers are required, they are kept confidential within Protect My Ministry, Inc. and not shared with Mount Bethel Church.
If you have had a clearance completed within the past 4 years through MBC - thank you. If not, or you are not sure, you will begin with a consent form via Dr. Kathy Hontz by completing the short Breeze form [click hyperlink or go to: https://mountbethelchurch.breezechms.com/form/c73b7b] which requests name and email contact. After that is completed a consent form will be sent via the PMM website.
