Design learning through STEAM [Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, Mathematics] will support hands-on, project-based discovery for homeschooled students in kindergarten through 2^nd grade. This 2.5-hour class will provide a 10-week introduction to our hybrid model, alternative school program which will launch in the fall of 2025. Students will join an in-person, drop off class once a week, to practice collaboration, problem solving and academic integration through a biblical worldview.

This fall, we are inviting students to launch their wonderings and imaginations as we explore space. We will consider how God, our Creator, designed space and what Scripture tells us about our magnificent universe. We will create models of the sun, moon, stars and planets. Investigations will include discovering how both solar and lunar eclipses impact the earth along with the size and scale of our solar system. We will also consider what it is like to be an astronaut as we practice some of the skills they need to know to join the space program. It will be an out-of-this-world discovery as we learn about the glorious creation of the heavens, as even it declares the glory of God [Psalm 19:1].
